About

DSU is Duxbury’s Youth Center

The Duxbury Student Union is non-profit organization serving young people in Duxbury. Independent from the Town and Schools, we provide innovative and impactful programming for all Duxbury youth through a variety of After School Programs and Special Events. Our mission is to provide youth with big world opportunities with a focus is on the whole child, providing a safe, supervised environment with a culture of respect and accountability. Through all of our programs we emphasize the importance of healthy choices, ranging from appropriate technology use, nutrition, evaluating risks and consequences, healthy relationships with peers and adults. We strongly encourage development of academic skills including organization and managing schedules, putting youth in charge of their own success influencing harmony at home.

Now entering our ninth year of operation, we enjoy a vibrant youth community with significant focus on leadership and volunteerism, encouraging young people to advocate and share their skills and talents starting in kindergarten all the way through college.
